I work for an insurance company’s life new business department and part of my role is to assist in ensuring the fast underwriting process of people’s life insurance applications. This involves chasing doctors’ surgeries every day to get medical reports and other medical information. Much to my dislike I get to spend a lot of time on hold and it would seem that there is a generic list of instrumental music that surgeries use for the their hold music and this is a very short list. The amount of time I spend listing to the same music over and over again is hard to deal with, even if I am getting paid for it!
