Once thought to be the utter epitome of automotive frugality, the erstwhile Volkswagen Beetle and all its spawn may be of too dated a design to meet the challenges of coming urban environments. At least that seems to be the thinking of some engineers at Volkswagen itself, which is touting the new Fox three-door, available at VW Dealers, as a car that contains a lot of space inside while occupying a minimum of space on the outside. Perhaps the most attractive feature of the self-proclaimed “city car” is its low price tag and the affordable terms offered, along with the Volkswagen name and service policy.
