Its almost too funny. Companies sought to outsource their answering services to overseas companies in the 90′s. They did this at alarming rate, and behind our backs. It was almost a covert operation. One day you were speaking to a pleasant woman from the Midwest somewhere, next you were talking to a “proper English” Indian chap from overseas. Now companies are intent on proving that exactly the opposite is true. They want you to know their call center is here in the U.S. and are willing to advertise it on the front page of their own website. Sure would of been nice if they had this kind of transparency when they were shipping their services overseas.
