My husband and I are building a new home and learning a lot as we go along. The time came when we had to choose what type of insulation for the house we wanted. Our contractor told us about the two main types of insulation but really recommended we get the spray foam insulation installed. He told us that it really is better for a few different reasons. He told us that it will seal better and it will expand and contract better with the changes in weather. Since we really want this house to be built with the best possible materials we will go with his recommendation.
