As a paralegal, I often do the grunt work that I don’t get paid nearly enough for. Court cases take a mind-boggling amount of research to prepare for, and guess who gets to prepare a large part of it? You are right, the answer is me, and others like me. We often turn to a court record search to make sure that we are thoroughly examining anything that may be pertinent to the case. I got this job because I thought I wanted to be a lawyer, but I am not so sure if it is really the job for me anymore!
