My nephew had a terrible accident last summer and had to stay in the hospital for several weeks. He saw many different doctors and nurses, but his favorite person to see was a cardiovascular technologist named James. James would greet him every day with a smile, a high five, and a new knock-knock joke to pass along to all the other nurses. It got to the point where my nephew was disappointed the days James wasn’t working. This was so inspiring to see, it made my cousin decide to work at that children’s hospital so she could carry that same fun spirit to other kids.
