I never knew that computer information is never completely erased. I just assumed when I threw something in the recycling bin, it was gone. I found out today I was completely wrong. This made me think about all of the things I have done on my computer. This would include banking, work documents and other sensitive things. I have given away a bunch of old computers, on freecycle, through the years. I wonder if the people ever brought up any of my old information. I just read a review for ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. This can erase all of files stored on a computer. I will be running this on all my computers, from now on.
