The Amisfield winery in the south island is one place that my girlfriend has really wanted to go to for a while now so as a surprise for her birthday I have organized a trip down there for us. We will be flying down and then getting a vehicle from car rental queenstown and driving across to arrowtown. It is a beautiful little town set amongst the foothills. From there the winery is only a short drive away and I have already made a reservation for lunch and wine tasting there. I’m sure she will be very surprised and very excited with the whole thing.
